Many industries, including mining, scientific research, medical diagnosis and others have been able to build stereoscopic imaging into their workflow to improve productivity and gain better understanding of their work environments and dataset. With the advancement of technology and the decreasing cost of display technology, stereoscopic visualisation has definitely hit the consumer market well, where it may be used for home entertainment systems and/or computer gaming.
