Description
Summary:This project aimed to develop an understanding of brain mapping, the different techniques used and to give a review of two softwares developed. Brain mapping is brain visualization using special techniques. Some available techniques are Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography and Electroencephalogram. This project took the existing EEG data to devise and confirm hypothesis. The two softwares that were used in the project were VisBrain and Visual Brain. Both facilitate the visualization of EEG data which is collected. The project lists their advantages and limitations for betterment in the future. The existing data is used and analyzed using the two softwares to compare the visualization techniques as well as the data for hypothesis. The hypothesis mentioned later on is confirmed or rejected on the basis of the visualization. The project also aimed to provide a better understanding of Neurofeedback technology so that in the future it could be used for visualization.
