| Summary: | In this dissertation, the social networks in a computer mediated environment, namely, Arofanatics forum are studied by analyzing the members' postings. The techniques in our analysis included systematic analysis of qualitative data and social network analysis measures. The combination of both techniques allows review of individual posting nature to the overview of social network relationship with directional visual display. The data were retrieved from the online forum Arofanatics and yielded 35 threads with 1,409 members' postings. |
