Numerous researches have been done for the design of user interface of applications. The researches covered the influence of user ability on the generation of user interface for the applications. Further researches also find out how different contexts and mobile platforms affect the generation of user interfaces for the applications as well. Most of the past researches have been on the user interface within an application. With the introduction of tons of new applications for the mobile phone, the main display of the mobile phone will be quickly flooded with application widgets. This work investigates some efficient way to automatically configure the main screen of the mobile phone using learning engine. Supervised neural networks are used to demonstrate how the learning engine is able to improve the efficiency as compare to using a simple algorithm to manage the screen.
