Development of a knowledge-based expert system for the generation of building construction schedules
Construction scheduling essentially entails the generation of a 'map' of operations of how the project is to be carried out. The 'map' or the construction schedule consists of a breakdown of the project into a series of activities leading to the completion of the project.
