Description
Summary:Computer simulation has increasingly become the most popular and frequently employed tool for problem solving and decision-making in the manufacturing and production environment. Simulation has been commonly used to study the behaviour of real-world manufacturing system to gain better understanding of the underlying problems. Simulation is also very effective in comparing different alternatives for area of improvement on an existing system. In this report, the simulation and statistical methods are used to analyze a typical production line with the aim of improving its throughput.
