Along with this hustling growth comes the burden of having to deal with the rapid rise in vehicle and driver population. Singapore boasts an excellent network of high standard and capacity roads. In fact, she has one of the most developed road systems in the Asia-Pacific region. However, it is disturbing that her accident fatality rate is still high compared to that of developed countries. Statistics show that Singapore's accident fatality rate is about twice that of countries such as the United States and Australia. |
