This project is a citation analysis of Singapore Libraries, the official publication of the Library Assocation of Singapore (LAS). The citation profile of Singapore Libraries is analysed in terms of its scholastic orientation, knowledge structure and research thrust. This report looks at various characteristics of the journal in comparison with research on comparative overseas journals. These include the proportion of referenced articles, the recency of citations, the distribution of the forms of publication, qualitative citation characteristics, the subjects and methodologies of the articles. This report determines the current citation inclinations of the journal and analyses its strengths and weakness.
