In Manufacturing Industry today, the success of a company is often being determined by the ability to provide a quality product at a quality price. Many firms are facing the problems of decreasing product life cycle. Increasing demand for product customization and complexity along with international pressures to reduce total cost and lead times have resulted in many firms re-engineering their business processes for competitive advantage.
