This report includes the process of the entire project including the planning, process and the post stages of the project. In the planning stages, objectives were set according to the criteria listed. Manuals on the software and tutorials were attempted to learn the usage of the software before the creation of the actual simulation. In the process stage, many hiccups were met with regards to the configuration of the software. Apart from the challenges, this paper also includes the step by step procedure taken to construct the school layout into the system and to include the evacuation procedure. At this stage, hypothesis was tested to determine variables and how these variables can help to improve the entire evacuation process. One example would be to function three ambulances instead of one to ensure that casualties are treated to at a speedy manner. At the post stage, data was accumulated into Tables and charts to provide a better visualisation of the project. Emergency Logistics Evacuation is the immediate and rapid movement of people away from the threat or actual occurrence of a hazard. For this final year project, the software FlexSim was used to design a simulation model for an evacuation.
