Development of embedded control system for the new chemical oxygen demand (COD) sensor

Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is a measure of the capacity of water to consume oxygen during the decomposition of organic matter and the oxidation of inorganic chemicals such as ammonia and nitrite. Water quality is defined by factors such as physical state, chemical concentrations and biological...

Water quality is defined by factors such as physical state, chemical concentrations and biological organisms. This project is the measuring the chemical oxygen demand (COD) which indicate the total pollution load in the water samples. The drawbacks are time consuming and limited to the range of the concentration of the chemical oxygen demand (COD) value of samples. In this project, the chemical oxygen demand (COD) under development is to be tested as well as sample testing to integrate the ozone generator in future. The hardware and software is done by the post-graduate student and the monitoring of the chemical oxygen demand (COD) is tested using various features and analyze and improve the performance of the results in this project.
