Description
Summary:Technical Analysis of financial instruments has been going on for nearly a century now. Since the conception of the Dow Theory, this field has seen an enormous amount of research being done. With over 50 technical indicators to help the common man trade in stocks and other financial instruments, this area has become ambiguous and confusing. Even though some indicators have been researched on and agreed upon by many, full reliance on these signals is still a matter of concern. This report delves into the world of technical indicators with major focus on the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence), RSI (Relative Strength Indicator) and SO (Stochastic Oscillator). Through numerous analyses on various stocks and commodities, this report presents a clear perspective on how accurately these 3 technical indicators work and how much profit/loss they generate. This report also summarizes the strength and weakness of each of the 3 indicators with recommendations on the market situations in which each of them is most effective.
