Description
Summary:In order to improve the sound quality in telephone communications conference room, researchers explore ways to perform filtering to remove acoustic echo. They are generated due to poor isolation of earpiece and microphone, or in an acoustically reflective environment. There are various Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) adaptive filtering algorithms that can be implemented in order to remove the unwanted acoustic echo. These algorithms use either time-domain adaptive filtering techniques or sub-band adaptive filtering techniques. In this project, the author will perform real-time signal processing programming with fixed-point DSP processor, BF533 EZ-Kit, using SDK VisualDSP++ 5.0.
