Due to the similar life experience with Li Yu, Li Qing Zhao is conducive to inherit the poetry style of Li Yu. Yi An Ci mainly inherited the language pattern, narrative style and the way to show melancholy emotional from Li Yu’s poetry. Li Qing Zhao inherited Li Yu's straightforward style of writing techniques and advocated the use of simple and natural language features. Besides, Li Qing Zhao is good in using syncategorematic term. Li Qing Zhao and Li Yu show their depression by specify the abstract emotion and inverse approach, as well as reflects their sadness by showing the direction of their native countries. On the other hand, feminine identity causes Li Qing Zhao to be more sensitive and delicate than male poets. Therefore her poetry often show unique female characteristics, such as prefers to use reiteration words, good in feminine writing as she has better understanding about the emotion of women. Although Li Qing Zhao is a female poet, Yi An Ci also shows masculinity. Unlike the male poets who show the masculinity strong and direct in their poetry, Li Qing Zhao more tends to use circuitous way to reveal her masculinity. In the lyric of object, Li Qing Zhao chants flowers frequently. Flowers also become her endorsement.
