For the full potential of e-commerce on the Internet, agent technology has been investigated to automate the procedure of e-commerce - from product search and filtering to negotiation and transaction. This report presents the outcome of the investigation taken up under project RG3/00 on the design and implementation of a multiple agent based system suitable for e- commerce applications. The investigation had three aspects. First, a hybrid agent-based architecture for e-commerce has been proposed and evaluated, a theoretical framework has been developed for complex e-commerce transactions and secure payment methods have been proposed and analyzed. 2008-09-17T08:04:51Z 2008-09-17T08:04:51Z 2004 2004 Research Report http://hdl.handle.net/10356/2303 Nanyang Technological University application/pdf |
