Novel approach to the design and realization of quadrature mirror filters

This thesis addresses the design and realization of Quadrature Mirror Filter (QMF) banks. It proposes a generalized and robust technique for designing QMFs that offer better filtering performance characteristic, better AS and PRE, over a considerable range of stop-band edge frequencies.
