Description
Summary:In this research, TCP/IP was chosen as the network protocol to be investigated due to its wide acceptance by the networking world. Conventionally, the networking of PCs and workstations is basically done via Operating Systems (OS). However, applying the same technique to network embedded systems would not be feasible, as running an OS requires a large memory footprint. Furthermore, the processing capability must be powerful. This hinders the network approach for embedded systems.
