Development of high performance fiber-optic gyroscopes
In this report, the research and development on fiber optic gyroscopes (FOG) are described. We have designed, analyzed and implemented, both theoretically and experimentally, a new gyroscope configuration called the amplified closed-sagnac loop interferometric fiber optic gyroscope or AC-IFOG.
