Description
Summary:Digital data transmission has revolutionized the communication arena. The launch of mobile digital television (DTV) service in Singapore has demonstrated the capability of COFDM technique for mobile reception. Singapore is a small island with many high-rise buildings, the environment is different from most of the European countries, which has much bigger land and can afford to build low rise buildings. Hence, there is a need to verify the recommendation provided by Chester 97 report [1] or ITU. The present work undertaken is to study the fixed DTV reception in Singapore.
