This technique is a suitable off-line diagnostic method for identifying electrical and mechanical faults of a transformer. The main objective of this project is to investigate the applicability of this predictive maintenance technique to identify the level of winding faults in power transformer and to characterize the transformer in a frequency plane for safe operation.
