This work seeks to highlight symbolic boundaries and spatial boundaries that exist between the two groups of Indians in Little India when they engaged in social practices. Through this process the power relations were displayed. The data result illustrates that power relations vary under different contexts and that Foucault’s notion of resistance is not prevalent as it is not the intentionality of the marginal group to challenge the dominant group.
