This dissertation attempts to uncover the potential uses of statistical methods. A continuous dataset was analyzed by using traditional statistical methods and the findings were discussed in order to evaluate the useful and important information in clinical practice. The standardization of the medical data is different for different regions e.g. west and east. The focus of the sample dataset is the proper use of data analysis techniques to evaluate the accuracy or the estimation of the echographic measurement based on the manual measurement at birth. This dissertation was based on the idea of what data is useful in clinical practice, how the statistical methods show the significance of the information from haphazard data and how the information manifests in medical decision-making.
