This thesis reports a framework for modeling complex system using Cognitive Task Analysis (CTA). Complexity is largely caused by the human operators in the system. Assuming that human behavior is guided by limited goals, system complexity can be modeled by breaking down the decision-making process. This assumption works better for a constrained environment where tasks are structured and there is little room for personal preference.
