The report first presents a brief introduction of the technology and equipments involved with the project. UWB technology provides the throughput required by the next generation of converged devices. The UWB simulation is carried out using UWB Development Kits. They are connected to computers to simulate the environment of the home devices which communicate with each other. So each computer with an UWB Development Kit is considered to be an entertainment device.
