Research and development of rare earth doped materials by sol-gel process for photonics application

In the present thesis work, a detailed study has been undertaken by the author in the development and optical analysis on two types of erbium doped and another two types of neodymium doped sol-gel based glasses. Following are the erbium/neodymium glasses general chemical compositions.
