Summary: | This thesis starts with the introduction of radio frequency identification (RFID) and some of its main functions. From the classification of RFID systems, the main focus is on the characteristics of the active back scattering RFID. The active back scattering RFID systems posses some benefits of the passive RFID system, with enhanced RF coverage. The information transferred between the reader and tags should be accurate and reliable, and the factors that affect the data transfer need to be analyzed while we design and study an active back scattering RFID system. |
