Framework of agent-based quality of service support for TCP/IP applications

The objectives of the research are: analyze the characteristics of TCP/IP protocol suite to explore the benefit of IP Network and the reasons why it cannot provide QoS support and analyze the characteristics of ATM technology to explore the critical technology enabling ATM’s QoS support.
