Description
Summary:We cannot ignore the gradual change in gender roles in our society today. This blurring will continue but when and where will it stop and what will we end up with? If it was Marco Polo who came across this gender blurring in the shape of a city, how would he describe this place, like he did in Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities? In my project, I will attempt to reconstruct an image of Andropolis which Marco Polo may have had in his mind. To define Andropolis will mean to describe the people of Andropolis, which brings about the core of my project, Androgyny.
