Culture and heritage has become an archaic subject that people are unwilling to learn or understand. Traditional Chinese wedding customs are an example of fading traditions in Singapore. In my project I hope to bring to light the richness and meaning of the traditions and symbols in Chinese weddings. A wedding brings joy and happiness, which coupled with knowledge of our heritage and knowing that the richness of it is not lost forever, is truly, double happiness.
