Summary: | This is a project where I explore and experiment with six of the circle’s core symbolism and their meanings. This study into the world of circles will experiment with this universal symbol’s geometric and symmetric forms, engaging the readers to re-interpret the circle in a contemporary approach. Often in books, long wordy descriptions are used to explain the meaning of the circle. Some included ancient visuals but most don’t. With these definitions of the circle in mind, the circle shape is reinterpreted to help visualize their true meanings. Thus this research into the world of circles and six of its core symbolism will pave way for an experimental exploration of geometric and symmetric forms.
The result will be two books which will compile and translate these research. There will be two sections to this project. Throughout the first book, the vector forms are rendered and executed according to my interpretation of what the meanings visually translates to. In the second book, I will present my process of a series of the rendered experimentation generated during the study. Each symbol will be further broken down into its smaller elements, thus resulting in other forms of pattern. |
