The present traditional cellular network - a Fixed Channel Assignment (FCA) cellular network though has been a major breakthrough and enjoyed success in the technology world, has the shortcomings of not able to support higher than anticipated call volumes, therefore resulted in either a dropped call during handover to the "busy" base station (call dropping) or an unsuccessful call in that particular cell (call blocking).
