Description
Summary:This project evaluates the biomechanical properties of swine cancellous bones using compressive testing and determines the relationship between these mechanical properties with Magnetic Resonance derived parameters such as trabecular spacing, thickness, number and bone volume fraction. Data from Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry and Computed Tomography were used as a control for validation purposes.
