Summary: | This paper explores the roles and implications of mankind in the discourse of civilisation and war motivations. Through book and online references, evidence is presented to show the innate aggression inherent in human beings and the motivations that precede the aggression. Together, these findings present a hypothesis that aggression, an innate trait that cannot be stopped, stems from mankind‟s selfish motivations, resulting in wars. The underlying message concludes that perhaps, humans can curb their motivations instead, for the greater good of future civilizations. |
