In this study, Neurofeedback trains the user by playing a feedback game, where the program measures for the desired EEG signal pertaining to being in a state of focus and attention (16 – 21Hz in the Beta band for attention, 8 – 13Hz in the Alpha band for relaxation). The protocol for Neurofeedback includes the measurement of EEG signal, then deriving the Alpha to Beta ratio in order to detect whenever the user focuses and to use it as a communication tool to control the feedback game.
