Description
Summary:The project aims to design and test the functional ability of an enhanced air flow device in a heated environment by removing the hot air through an opening and reduces the temperature to a desired range for the comfort of the user. The enhanced air flow device works by the principle of force ventilation to remove the hot air in the heated environment and induce cooler air from the external of the environment to flow into the control volume. This flow of air will then become a natural circulation within the heated environment thus reducing the temperature of the heated environment. The results show that the enhanced air flow device is able to reduce the temperature of the heated environment by approximately 26 degree Celsius from 67.4 degree Celsius to 41.3 degree Celsius, depending on the temperature difference of the day condition. Furthermore with the rechargeable unit, there will be no cost incur during the usage of the device. The enhanced air flow device via force ventilation is an effective means of reducing the temperature in a heated environment thereby eliminating the need to cool the car before usage.
