Description
Summary:In this information era, enterprises have relied more than ever on information technology to facilitate their business activities. However enterprises have all kinds of standards to organize and document their data since there is not a universal standard. When data is exchange between enterprises in business activities, it leads to inefficiency for an enterprise to process the received data because they come in various standards. This problem could be solved with B2B integration. This project has studied XML document integration problem in an Ordering and Shipping system and developed an internet-based B2B integration solution using Web 2.0 Technologies. The internet-based B2B integration solution adopts client-server architecture and allows users to access it through a web browser. The B2B integration solution mainly consists of two components. A document mapping function which analyzes XML documents with Document Object Model and allows user map between XML documents on a graphic interface on the web. The other component is document transformation function which generates XSLT modules from mapping result and implement data integration between XML documents. An account management system is provided to better manage user’s information.
