Electronic learning is used and applied in many countries due to its flexibility and convenience. In today’s e-learning application, most of which are interactive graphics integrated software and play back of video recording. There is still a lack in practical approach that the current e-learning could replace it.
Haptic devices have been gaining world wide acceptance and the demand of it is increasing. With this technology, the user could experience force feedback and experience an all new sensation they have never felt before. A haptic device known as the Novint Falcon was released in 2007, with a cost price that is affordable to all consumers.
Since an haptical device could produce a force that could be felt by the user, this projects aims to study the interaction and the feasibility of combining the haptic device with a program to illustrate a haptic interfaced e-learning program so as to improve on current e-learning applications. |
