Summary:DVB-T, developed by the DVB Project, is a technical standard for digital television broadcasting that has been adopted by many countries world-wide including Singapore. Hence, the planning for Digital TV in Singapore will require a good knowledge of the characteristics of DTV signals especially in HDB estates. The report starts off with an introduction on the DVB-T standard adopted in Singapore. Software and equipments setup, such as the DigiTV Laika Receiver and the X-Y Table, during the experiments will also be covered in the report as well. In addition, the report will cover detailed explanations on the various experiment methodologies performed during the project as well as the different Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and Non-LOS sites selected for carrying out the measurements. The performance of the data collected will be analyzed towards the end of the report.
