When awareness of global water shortage is raised, water purification methods from recycled natural resources or water reuse technology and strategies are obtaining more attention. Amongst the various purification techniques such as filtration, ozonation, osmosis etc, converting atmospheric water vopour to drinking water is having more health and safety benefits than the other technology. With its advanced working principle of using condensation, filtration, recycling and easy equipment installation, portable water of high purity and different consumer needs can be produced anytime anywhere using electricity. For places where usage of solar energy is available, the air to water generation could be environment friendly. A study on the feasibility of converting water vapor in humid air to drinking water in tropical Singapore is conducted to check the potential usage of air to water generation principle.
