Description
Summary:Non hollow anatase titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanostructures were prepared by electric oven-assisted hydrothermal chemical reaction with titanium isopropoxide (TIP) as the titanium precursor, diethylenetriamine (DETA) as the capping agent and iso-propanol (IPA) as the solvent. The synthesized non hollow TiO2 nanosheets spheres (NSSs) were subjected to post heat treatment at 400 °C in which its structural integrity were retained. Exploiting on the aforementioned hydrothermal technique; the project was elevated to templating of colloid particles to obtain four other novel nanoarchitectures namely: hollow shell TiO2 NSSs, double shell hollow TiO2 NSSs, rattle type TiO2 nanosheets ellipsoid and hollow TiO2 nanosheets ellipsoid. This report focuses mainly on morphology of all synthesized nanomaterials and electrochemical properties exclusively for non hollow anatase TiO2 NSSs.
