總結: | Lead-acid battery has been found for more than 150 years, and it is now commonly used in our daily life from motor vehicles to electronic devices. The common problem for the lead-acid batteries is called sulfation which will decrease battery life. However, sulfation can be reversed and prolong the battery life by using and electronic device called desulfator.
This project aims to develop and modify a battery desulfator which using pulsing technique to inject a pulse into the battery positive and negative plates to dissolve the crystalline crystals and effectively extend the battery life.
Studies were done on the information of different type of batteries and working principle of pulsing technique. Other information on voltage level display and alarm system is also being studied. Based on the concept and technique, modification can be done in the circuit, by adding new features such as voltage level indicator and alarm system can be achieved. |
