This research project mainly provides on the basic operation and control of the power converter of the three-phase uncontrolled rectifier and three-phase inverter. The following section of this report provides an overview of the renewable energy, power converter, analog electronic of the sinusoidal pulse width modulation technique and low pass filter. I appreciated this opportunity given by Associate Professor So Ping Lam to learn and understand the knowledge on the basic structure design of power converter with the sinusoidal pulse width modulation and experience on the research environment during the final year research project. Finally the report will look at the conclusion on the final year research project and thing researched by the student.
