Description
Summary:Global warming that Earth experience today is cause by phenomenon called greenhouse effect. This increasing concentration of greenhouse gases resulting from the combustion of fossil fuels in cars, factories and electricity production. There are many possible solutions, including improvements to energy efficiency and to increase the energy consumption that comes from the wind and solar power. Wind energy is an abundant, clean and inexhaustible source of energy that will never run out. Wind comes from atmospheric changes; changes in temperature and pressure makes the air move around the surface of the earth; all of which is triggered by the sun. So in a way, wind energy is another form of solar power. Energy obtained from the wind is an attractive clean energy source that might result in less dependence on fossil fuels in power generation. This report explores various switching power topology that are being bring together to ensure the voltages obtained from the wind energy can be pumped back into the grid to be used as an renewable source of energy.
