Wireless sensor network : machine degradation system
In practice, degradation of a machine is closely monitored using condition monitoring. This predictive methodology has been widely adopted in the industry due to its capability to anticipate abnormal conditions and using analysing tool, the source of the conditions could be specified. However, issue...

From recent studies, wireless sensor network (WSN) has shown significant results in performing condition monitoring applications. With this motivation, this project has studies the performance of using WSN in condition monitoring based on vibration. Data is acquired using Crossbow IRIS mote wireless sensors and displayed onto the LabVIEW software. This study has attempted to use Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to perform vibration analysis for low sampling application.
