Summary:This study investigates the media literacy among engineering students of Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The purpose of this study was to determine if the students were able to access the needed information from the various media sources effectively and efficiently, to determine if they were able to evaluate the accessed information and its sources critically, to determine how students incorporate the selected information in their assignments/projects, and to determine if the students understood the social, ethical and legal issues surrounding the use of the accessed information. A total of 135 students from the three (first, second and third) years participated in this study.
