Procurement is not just simply purchasing items, but it is the acquisition with a strategy through the "5-Rights". In order for the refineries and the chemical plants to operate smoothly on a daily basis, the Procurement Department must ensure to acquire the necessary equipments within the specified time at the best price to the right place. During the period of Industrial Attachment in ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, the students will learn many skills to become a professional buyer. As part of the Procurement Team, it is essential to learn the control guidelines of acquisition, and the necessary soft skills like comunication, presentation, negotiation, analytical and many more. Through this experience, the students shall equip themselves with the valuable knowledge and be prepared to enter the working world in the future.
