| Summary: | This report summarizes the contribution to projects in Becton Dickson Medical (S) Pte Ltd during the 22 weeks industrial attachment period. Two main projects involved in are the Improved Blood Collection Needle (IBCN) project and BD Precise 50ml Syringe project. From involvement in IBCN project, technical knowledge on product development, tolerance analysis and design of experiments (DOE) were gained. As for the BD Precise 50ml Syringe project, technical skills on conducting tests and taking measurements were gained. Statistical knowledge on measurement system analysis (MSA) and analysis of test results were also gained. In summary, the attachment experience in Becton Dickson was both valuable and enriching. |
