Participants aged between 18 to 25 years who fell under the categories of schooling and non-schooling were given a questionnaire that consisted of the above three instruments and it was found that all three instruments positively correlated with each other. However, the cut off score of pathological gambling for DSM-IV was found to be too conservative and the cut off scores of problem and pathological gambling for SOGS was found to overestimate the number of problem and pathological gamblers.
