Description
Summary:All traditional telecommunication companies face constant challenges. Among the most important issues are the deregulated market and the appearance of information technology to the telecommunication scene. Along with rapid technological development, we see new service requirements and opportunities for marketing new value-added services by the telecom operators. Examples of such new technology are such as Fixed/Mobile convergence (FMC) and Voice over IP. These convergent services have great potentials in helping the telecommunication operators to retain customers, extend the market share of traditional telecommunication companies, or provide a platform for new entrants.
