Description
Summary:Fabrication and characterization of Graphene-Zinc Oxide (G-ZnO) hybrid nanostructure was introduced in this thesis. Graphene used in this work was synthesised by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method whereas ZnO nanowires was grown by hydrothermal growth method. G-ZnO hybrid nanostructure characterization was done using Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). It represents new physics properties and phenomena either in Raman spectra or photoluminescence spectra. Based on the experiment results, it is can be concluded that there were reactions between graphene and ZnO nanostructure. And eventually, G-ZnO hybrid nanostructure was able to be integrated into Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) due to its unique optical and electrical properties.
